Humza Teherany is Chief Innovation Officer at Compass Group Canada where he is responsible for technology, innovation, and consumer experience strategy across industry verticals such as Retail, Sports and Entertainment, Business and Industry, Healthcare, Education, Oil and Gas among others.

 
Compass Group is the worlds largest hospitality experience company and has operations in over 50 countries, with annual revenues of more than $28 Billion. Compass operates major retail brands such as Starbucks & Tim Horton’s and also operates its own world class retail branded offerings serving millions of customers per day.  Humza received his under-graduate degree from York University and also has various professional training certificates from both The Schulich School of Business, and the Niagara Institute. Over his 16 year career in IT, beginning in a technology start-up and then in software development, Humza  eventually moved into management positions within the Telecommunications Industry.  Prior to Compass Group, Humza worked at MTS Allstream, where he was Director of Business Transformation and IT Enterprise Architecture.
